Investing in our Community

Our aim is to hopefully engage your support and backing of the North Blackpool Regeneration Growth & Prosperity Group’s plans and ambition to ensure this part of Blackpool achieves its potential to become a destination for increased tourism and local recreation.

Our aim is to rival Fylde council’s approach with Lytham and St Annes seafront and bring the people who enjoy walking along the promenade and spending money in their shops, cafes and hotels to our part of the world as well to do the same.

​

We believe there is a huge opportunity to develop and refresh the north promenade’s existing fantastic assets and facilities (parking, cafes, gardens, public toilets etc). This could be done in conjunction with encouraging local community initiatives to get involved, to ensure this section of the seafront becomes a vibrant and attractive leisure and wellbeing destination for tourists and local residents again.

The North Blackpool Regeneration Growth & Property Group invests a huge amount in the businesses of North Blackpool and its local communities and people each year, with the Choice Hotel Group alone intending to invest in around £1million. We are more than happy to do so, but we want to make the long overdue plea for retrospective investment from the council to come North Blackpool’s way too.
